Tools of the Trade

I grew up in my father's jewelery store. When he was not at his work bench, I would be there. I learned how to put charms on charm bracelets, to change out a watch band, and the best, was when my Dad would give me an old watch to take apart. I have always loved the look of the tools. There were so many unusual shapes for all the different functions one would need repairing watches and fixing jewelery. My father passed away in 2005. I inherited his tools. The photographs presented here is a tribute to my father, Gustave "Buzzy" Cohan. 1916-2005
